Europower S.p.A., formerly Commissioning Italia S.p.A. until 31/12/2005, is an Italian leading company active on EPC basis in the engineering, supply and construction of turn key plants, and on Global Services basis supplying Operation and Maintenance Services.
Founded as private company in 1979, Europower is a company fully owned by Sofinter Spa, which includes significant presence of Private Equity Partners and JP Morgan Italian Fund III.
Europower was able to achieve in 2005 a turnover more than 40.000.000 Euro, while the Sofinter consolidated turnover has been more than 450.000.000 Euro.
The company headquarters is in Gallarate (40 km N.W. of Milan), Largo Buffoni, 3.
Europower is active in several industrial fields: Energy, Waste to Energy and Oil & Gas.
In particular, Europower has acquired over the years a relevant experience in the construction of combined-cycle and co-generation Electric Power Plants, Industrial Plants, specialising also in the supply of District Heating Systems and Hydroelectric Plants.
Europower is also active in the field of gasification technology aimed at producing energy by CDR. Europower is the majority shareholder of Ecoengineering Impianti s.r.l., a company specialized in gasification technology.
Europower avails itself of a highly experienced technical structure, which allows the implementation of skilled engineering solutions in perfect compliance with our national and international customers’ needs. Europower maintains close and reciprocal collaboration with our clients during and after the project performance.
Moreover Europower has acquired several projects in Operation & Maintenance field, where our company supplies fully guaranteed Global Service.
Among its main goal EUROPOWER has the services’ quality and the customer satisfaction. Therefore the company has obtained the certification by the International Organization SGS Italia S.p.A.according to the UNI EN ISO 9001/2008 “Quality Management System”,
