Ecoprogetto Venezia – a subsidiary of the parent company Veritas – manages the integrated Pole of Fusina, in Porto Marghera (Ve): here the dry fraction collected in particular in Venice area, is transformed into CSS, the Secondary solid fuel, and sold, in place of coal, as fuel to power plants.
Ecoprogetto Venezia, in addition to being one of the largest and most innovative plant in Italy for treating and transforming the dry fraction of waste into CSS, guarantees energy production from biomass (wood) for plant self-consumption.
Ecoprogetto Venezia has appointed Europower to revise the thermal cycle of the current biomass waste-to-energy line to increase its potential for disposal and steam production.
The end of the activities are expected within the first quarter of 2020.
